Deregistering a smart device removes the product control from your account and the cloud. The reason for this would be to connect to a new wifi network, moving house etc.
There are two ways to deregister your smart device.
Device Settings "Remove Device"
- Open the Interactive Home app
- Select the device you want to remove
- Select settings "..." in the top right
- Scroll to the bottom then select "Remove Device" and confirm.
Your device should power cycle then be removed from the cloud/app and enter pairing mode (Fast Flashing Status Light)
Factory Reset Device
- Find the reset button on your smart product
Cameras (Reset button will be labelled on the device. Check the manual for reference)
Plug's/Switches: Power button
- Hold down the reset button for 5 seconds
Your device should power cycle then be removed from the cloud/app and enter pairing mode (Fast Flashing Status Light)
Once you have reset your device, you can reregister as factory default.
